Childhood...
...where the building blocks of our future begin. We lead sensational lives from our very beginnings. From the bonding and attachment at birth, to taking those first steps towards independence, our lives develop based on how our internal and external environments are interpreting the world through our sensory systems.
Whole Family... holistic... neuro-affirming approach
In Touch Pediatric Therapy has provided in-home and community based intervention by a pediatric occupational therapist with 30+ years of experience with the goal of developing resilient children and families. By strengthening understanding of how their brain and body systems responds to the internal and external world of the child, resilience does not mean that a child or family doesn't experience difficulty or distress, but offers a way to manage and grow through these challenges in a healthy way. All member's in the child's circle of influence benefit from identifying strengths and establishing daily routines to support physical development, emotion regulation skills and strong self awareness.
Dr. Shefali Tsabary's words of wisdom on conscious parenting and loving your child in the most meaningful way are touching and challenging. Our children come into this world with a throbbing spirit. Our society has expectations that pull on us from all directions, but our children demand a heart centered, neuro-affirming approach.
